THE NOBLE QUALITIES OF FRENCH OAK WOOD
To create the incomparable woody and smoky facet of the new CERRUTI 1881 opus, Jean-Christophe Herault explored the specific olfactory qualities of cognac, by the ageing process in oak barrels. Renowned for being a superior artisan laboratory in production of exceptional natural raw materials for perfumery, LMR naturals by IFF have created a method of upcycling oak wood chips from master barrelmakers in the Cognac region, which are then CO2 extracted.
